A wired connection from the computer to the router is almost always a configuration that will work for adapter based VOIP but wireless connections to the router tend to be a problem. An alternate way of using your VOIP adapter is to connect it directly to an Ethernet port of the computer. This method would be used if your having a problem running VoiParrot with the previous router configuration (Especially if your using a wireless connections between the computer and the router).
